2- Turn off the Roku Streaming Player by unplugging it from your viewing device. If you obstructed the Roku Streaming Player into your TV with a cord, then undo it from the television; if you used an HDMI cable cord, then undo that from the HDMI port. Once this is completely done, undo the A/C power adapter from the Roku Player. This will fully flip it off. 

3- Turn off the Roku Streaming device by unplugging it from the HDMI port on the TV.

•      If your TV transfers power through the HDMI port, then all you need to do is take away the stick, and so your Roku will turn off.

•      If your HDMI port doesn't give power, you'd have required to attach a micro-USB cable adapter to the Roku Stick and have obstructed it into a wall outlet.

•      Take away the Streaming Stick directly from the HDMI port, the roku will shut down completely.

4- Turn off the Roku TV by unplugging the TV from the wall. If you are using Roku remote to "turn off" then you are just putting it in standby mode.  the sole way to fully shut down the Roku TV is to remove the cable cord from the outlet. Once this is done, the TV will be fully off.
